The Operational Technology (OT) Security and Resilience Training is an intensive, two-day course that combines theoretical knowledge with practical workshops. Its goal is to prepare participants to effectively secure industrial control systems such as SCADA, DCS, and PLCs, and build resilient production environments.
Participants will learn the fundamental differences between the IT and OT worlds—specifically, the different approaches to security priorities (availability vs. confidentiality). The training also includes an overview of recognized standards and frameworks, such as NIST SP 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443, and MITRE ATT&CK for ICS, which form the foundation for building security strategies in industrial environments.
A strong emphasis is placed on practical work—participants work in a laboratory environment where they learn to discover assets, analyze network traffic, identify vulnerabilities, and understand attack techniques against OT systems. The training also covers security architecture design based on the Purdue model and implementation of the Defense-in-Depth approach. The whole is complemented by an introduction to incident response in the OT environment, taking into account the specifics of business continuity of industrial systems.
Cybersecurity specialists (IT and OT), automation and control system engineers, industrial network administrators, SOC and IR teams supporting OT environments, individuals responsible for the security of critical and production infrastructure.
